New clinic for laser revision of tongue and lip ties
If your baby is having problems being breast-fed and you are experiencing symptoms, it is possible that your baby has a tongue-tie.
A tongue-tie is a piece of tissue under the middle of the tongue that is too short or thick and restricts a baby’s tongue movement. If there is also tissue under the top lip that is too tight this may prevent normal mobility of the upper lip. Both of these may result in a poor latch and contribute to difficulty breast-feeding.
Dr Levinkind has a dedicated clinic where he provides laser revision of tongue and lip ties for babies and children of all ages. If you would like to book a consultation appointment, please call 020 8444 3413.
